of the service of the Metropolitan and Archbishop Borys Gudziak,
Philadelphia / Washington, 2-9 June 2019
We live in a rough world. Systems of power are cynical, vulgar, often ruthless. Leaders are distant. People are lonely, and alienated. Relations are virtual. From Paris to Washington, from Kyiv to Philadelphia, from Rome to New York, from Lviv to Newark, from Chicago to Minersville—people yearn to be heard, to speak heart to heart.
From the Father’s heart, out of the eternal communion of the Holy Trinity, the Son comes to us in the Holy Spirit. God created us in love and yearns with His whole heart that we be with Him. Jesus stands with us in this life—heart to heart. The Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts, helping us say “Abba-Father” and love each other in sincerity and mutual sacrifice. I invite you to such a relationship with God and your neighbor. Together. Led by our youth let us go to encounter оur dignity, peace and joy.
